the point of being a film director is to expose people to your niche music taste. if you can't do this you need to give up filmmaking, you'll never have what it takes.
They were obviously always going to be reunited but the lack of restraint they showed was insane. Have season 3 be just him and over the course of the season he realizes how much he misses Grogu. Then the movie can be their reunion. Insane fumble.
