@Bamalam @ruallsion 1000%. The costumes don’t look worn in. They’re spotless in every scene despite their battles, adventures, etc. things like that add an extra layer to the viewing experience.

@ruallsion One of my biggest problems with the show is it is way too clean, you can have colour and still keep the grittiness of pirate life The boys wash like once weekly aside Sanji according to Oda and they hate chore work, so who’s cleaning up, it all looks so fresh out the box.

The costuming in the show is so weird. On the one hand it’s all fairly accurate, but on the other, it just looks fake. It doesn’t look like clothing. It looks like costumes.

The MCU has actually become a perfect adaptation of the Marvel comics, in that they both love to walk back on any interesting changes they made to the status quo out of fear of being rejected by the general audience

This trailer just completely undid End Game. Marvel knows they messed up with making the Falcon Captain America. They know they alienated their base. Now they put fatherhood in a trailer after promoting two moms. RDJ as Dr Doom? There are no stakes in the MCU. Anyone can come back. No one has to stay dead. People will still go see this movie because they loved the last two Avengers movies, but the whole thing rings hollow.
