@PhntmWhsprs @RambleMan51 Also again he sees himself as an outsider of the church, instead of participating with his congregation. Which is really easy to do if you are of geniune faith which I suspect is the reason why a lot of young men turn away from the church because they lack the faith

@neroncoe @RambleMan51 We're not talking about getting married or even dating. We're talking about treatment of visitors. His tweet is also a reply to someone who suggested that young men go to church to meet young women. He explained further on he doesn't actually do this to meet women.

Being overly hostile to outsiders in a congregation may offer some protection from certain things, but it's a good way for that congregation to completely die off.

@ctapia100 @RambleMan51 The problem is that Christians proselytize to project a morally superior identity (i.e. virtue signal), but are actually resistant to allowing new people into their tribe. I think you would be reacting this same way to someone who was earnestly trying to convert
