Pour rain into these tears of mine,
Let the dream soar straight to spring’s embrace.
Paths will part like lips, begin to whisper truths,
I’ll turn your absence into bittersweet joy.
It’s my habit — I die again and again,
Splintered across a thousand loves.
It’s my moon — I’m forever eclipsed,
Yet veiled and saved by countless shafts of light.
What’s outside flows up from deep inside,
My shadow is carved from my own skin.
Love outshines even death —
Open your eyes: true life is hidden in dreams.
It’s my habit — I rise from every grave,
Tumbling down mountains without end.
It’s my moon — I darken over and over,
Yet every kiss washes me clean, white as dawn.
The sorrow — chasing bird descends,
Alighting tender on the night’s soft face.
Pale-as-moonlight darling echoes through my veins.
