@ElieJarrougeMD Do you have any recommendations for time frames of on and off keto? I enjoy the effects of keto but once I'm off it I tend to avoid it for a while

Everyone needs to become fat-adapted to improve their metabolic health, meaning they become metabolically flexible to easily switch to dietary and body fat for their energy needs when carbs and glucose are low. Also, everyone should try to experience being keto-adapted, meaning their body also becomes efficient at using ketones for energy. The level of mental sharpness and clarity as well as general wellbeing is hard to describe without experiencing it. It takes several weeks on a very low carb diet to become keto-adapted. The brain can switch most of its energy to ketones and it’s magical. The benefits also extend to your heart and muscles and to your overall metabolism. You don’t need to stay in ketosis long term, but dipping into it from time to time can keep you in optimal health.

Big feast coming up, and you know you're going to overdo it. You should overdo it. Here's how to do it the right, least harmful way: 1. Hard workout the day off. Deplete that glycogen, break down that muscle, get your body primed to accept all the incoming energy and nutrients.

Trust, honesty, and respect are the 🔑s to cultivating good relationships. But what happens when being a "dub teacher" goes wrong... How do you regain control of your classroom? Structure, balance, revisit your norms. Val + Steve = Dream Team #ACTFL23

@manuelawag tells us Culture is not static so our students need the skills of interpreting/relating and discovery/ interacting...in order for to become critically culturally aware. I'll never get enough of hearing my forever teacher explain ICC ♡ #actfl23

"Everything is graded and nothing is graded" when you build units purposefully with activities that build up to the summative performance. Thank you for the thought-provoking sidebar @thekatrinagriff & Thomas! #ACTFL23

What's an acceptable amount of time to be late in your country/culture? I'm French. If I'm waiting for more than 15 minutes, I usually leave 😂.
