1 in 5000 women do not have a uterus or a functioning uterus. (MRKH syndrome). Of those that have a functioning uterus, many cannot carry a pregnancy to term due to autoimmune conditions, cardiac conditions, or cancer treatment. Still more can't expand their families due to history of previous severe pre-term birth (<28 weeks).
This is a medical issue.
