What’s up folks? It’s the day of the first event for my small business. I am so excited!

@tojulius @MateyEvents Maybe it's not the imperfection itself but the shared experience and emotions in the queue that are a great ice breaker. If that's the case, positive shared experiences might do the same.

@MateyEvents I wonder how we can recreate imperfect moments without affecting the quality of the experience. Planning for failure is so antithetic to what we do.

Somebody told me about one of the most memorable events they ever attended. It had some very ‘negative’ elements like waiting in line for hours, being hungry and exhausted. During this shared negative experience, long lasting bonds were formed. Do perfect events feel fake?

The fact we have to call them in-person events tells you that a change has inevitably happened.
