When I was heavy, it was She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb. After I lost the weight and was trying to navigate a new me, it was a memoir, Passing for Thin by Frances Kuffel

After probably the most overwhelming week ever, I took it upon myself to cheer me up so I stayed behind after school and learnt ‘the shuffle.’ Not gonna lie, this did wonders for my wellbeing. 😁 Happy Friday #edutwitter!

@tayari Yes! You float in a small (private) pool. The water has Epsom salt in it and you just float and meditate and think and pray and come out feeling amazing!

@tayari I always do a Black History Month presentation at the elementary school where I teach. Yesterday, I did a presentation on Motown which is celebrating 60 years #BlackHistoryMonth

How are you marking the start of #BlackHistoryMonth? Personally, I am celebrating by revisiting Tar Baby. It gets better every time.
