WHY I’M RUNNING FOR CALIFORNIA STATE SENATE MY VISION FOR CALIFORNIA I have no intention of being a legislator that does nothing.  I welcome everyone UP THERE to join me and be a part of a broad coalition that is willing to work hard, call out EVERYONE that is a part of the problem and design a plan that gets ACTUAL RESULTS.  That’s how I did business in the private sector beginning in sales, that in time built up a business as a visionary entrepreneur and conquered an industry at an executive level.  Now I get the opportunity to do this, make California better than it’s been – one win at a time. California is too expensive for a decent family or a young couple with a meager salary to live.  It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find a job.  Once you do find a job, there’s no guarantee that it will last.  Every other day our favorite venues realize they can’t afford to stay in business.  They close-up shopand cut jobs that never come back.  Crime has run rampant in California.  We’ve all watched the “Smash and Grab” operations, COMMITTED IN BROAD DAYLIGHT.  Our current Governor-in-Thief, Newsom has done nothing.  In fact, he literally fought AGAINST the effort to increase penalties, catch these thieves and hold them accountable.  The Democrats in charge are a Den of Thieves - these criminals stick together Trans-Drug “THERAPY” for our kids paid for by our tax-dollars?! By order of Newsom and School Administrators teachers were told not to share information with parents, that's crazy.   (It’s not therapy).  I call it what it is, it’s CHILD ABUSE  and pure evil. Gavin Newsom AND School Administrators STOLE the authority to hide all this information from parents – responsible parents are the only people that should have the authority and right to make these decisions and raise their children, NOT the State!  If there are exceptions to the rule they shouldn’t dictate public policy.  Newsom has placed our children in direct, irreparable harm FOR LIFE. This isn’t just the first time I’ve waded into this conversation. I have a history of calling these abusive acts of criminal enterprise by administrators, bureaucrats and politicians out on Radio. I hope to get the chance to call them out to their faces. Sincerely, Mike Netter Businessman, Taxpayer Advocate, Californian (I will not give up on California and restoring the California Dream that we deserve.)

The LA City Council voted 12–0 for the option to cut its regular meeting schedule to as little as one day a week. How do you feel about that?

Trump Education Secretary Linda McMahon is launching a nationwide crackdown on school districts accused of protecting teachers implicated in sexual misconduct — and she’s making it clear that California is in the crosshairs. “We’re launching OCR investigations. Schools will be in jeopardy of losing their federal funding.” McMahon cites staggering allegations about the scale of misconduct nationwide — and the pattern she says is repeated coast to coast: “One out of ten students experiences some form of sexual misconduct from teachers or staff. No action is taken. These teachers, with union support, are moved to other schools.” The message: the era of quiet transfers and institutional cover‑ups is over.

In 1999, the Bland family donated nearly 88 acres of land in Taylor, Texas, to a public trust for just $10. The agreement clearly stated that the land should be kept for future use as a public park. Over the years, the property changed hands several times, moving between different organizations and local authorities. In 2008, the City of Taylor sold the land to the Taylor Economic Development Corporation for only $15,000. Many years later, in 2025, the corporation sold the same property to a data center developer called Blueprint for $10 million. Soon after the sale, work began to clear the land for a large 135,000-square-foot data center. The project surprised many local residents, especially those who believed the land would remain parkland as originally intended. One of those residents was Pamela Griffin, whose family has deep roots in the area. She explained that Black families like hers were once prevented from buying land inside the city limits. Griffin said she was shocked by the decision to build the facility so close to low-income homes. The situation has sparked debate in the community. Some people see the project as economic development that could bring jobs and investment. Others believe the original purpose of the land should have been respected. The story has raised questions about how public land is managed and whether promises made decades ago should continue to be honored today. Give me your thoughts?

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) authorized the conversion of 162 miles of an existing natural gas pipeline to pump and transport groundwater from the Mojave Desert. Approved under the Federal Land Policy and Management Act, the right-of-way permit allows Cadiz Inc. and the Lytton Rancheria to convey up to 16 billion gallons of water annually to Southern California cities. The controversial Mojave Groundwater Bank is aimed at providing supplemental water storage and supplying the Colorado River Basin. The BLM determined that the pipeline repurposing complies with federal regulations and that direct environmental impacts of the groundwater withdrawal were outside the scope of the pipeline's review. However, the project remains highly controversial. Conservation groups like the National Parks Conservation Association and various desert advocacy coalitions oppose the extraction, arguing that drawing from the Fenner Valley Aquifer risks damaging the fragile ecosystems and springs near the Mojave Trails National Monument and Joshua Tree National Park. Additionally, under California law, the project requires a scientific study and final approval from the California State Lands Commission prior to delivering water to cities. What do you think of this?

President Donald Trump said Sunday that Sen. Lindsey Graham called him just hours before his death to discuss advancing the SAVE America Act, saying the South Carolina Republican sounded tired after returning from Ukraine but otherwise appeared to be in good spirits. "What makes it even stranger is I got a call last night some time in the early evening, maybe in the sevens, and he called, and he said we're all set for the SAVE America Act," Trump said. "He was pushing the SAVE America Act like crazy." Speaking by phone on NBC's "Meet the Press,"Trump said Graham's final call underscored the late senator's relentless work ethic and devotion to public service.

Lindsey Graham grew up in the back room of a South Carolina bar, sharing a bathroom with patrons who worked down the street at a nearby mill plant. He took baths with water heated up on the stove. At the age of 12, he was working at the downstairs pool hall, racking tables to help with his family’s financial struggles. As a college student, he rushed home to his dying mother, who pleaded with her grieving son: “Lindsey, let me go.” Soon after, his father died in his sleep after a massive heart attack, a tragedy discovered by his 13-year-old sister. And while serving in the Air Force in Europe, he had two girlfriends, and considered proposing marriage to a woman who was a Lufthansa flight attendant. He never did. As a C student in high school, Graham blurted out to his teacher, “I want to be governor.” His classmates laughed at his credulity. And after scoring an 800 (out of 1,600) on his SAT, Graham was accepted to the University of South Carolina, making him the first person in his extended family to attend college. Just some information on the recently departed Senator you may not have known? Any other facts? Please reply with them

Five Illegal Immigrants Arrested After Terrifying Houston Home Invasion in March Authorities say five suspects stormed a Houston family’s home, restrained the victims, and held a juvenile at gunpoint during a violent armed robbery. The suspects — Norvey Rodriguez Angulo, Elvin Lavon Caicedo, Elvin Caicedo, Eleuterio Castro, and Edward Lozano Tenorio — were charged with aggravated robbery. Court documents reportedly connect them to a transnational theft ring, while law-enforcement sources described the group as part of a Colombian-linked crime operation targeting homes across Texas. (ABC13 Houston) Reports have described the suspects as being in the country illegally, although the available court reporting does not establish the claim that all five were released under a specific administration’s border policies. Wonder how this family feels about illegal immigration?

Corporal Jason S. Clairday jumped a 4 foot gap between houses 3 stories up to rescue a wounded Marine on the roof of an enemy stronghold in Fallujah. He then fiercely led multiple assaults to take the house, suffering mortal wounds. For his incredible determination and heroism, Cpl Clairday was posthumously awarded the Navy Cross. The President of the United States of America takes pride in presenting the Navy Cross (Posthumously) to Corporal Jason S. Clairday, United States Marine Corps, for extraordinary heroism as Fire Team Leader, 1st Squad, 2d Platoon, Company K, Third Battalion, Fifth Marines, Regimental Combat Team 1, FIRST Marine Division, during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM on 12 December 2004. While conducting a security sweep in the Askari District of Al Fallujah, a platoon-sized insurgent force engaged 3d Platoon. Corporal Clairday immediately repositioned his men and jumped a four foot gap three stories up onto the roof of the enemy stronghold where a mortally wounded Marine lay, isolated by the enemy. After throwing several fragmentation grenades, Corporal Clairday fiercely led the attack into the house. He was immediately hit with enemy AK-47 rifle fire in both legs and fell into the kill zone. Under heavy enemy fire, he continued to aggressively engage the enemy while extracting himself from the doorway. Without regard for his own wounds, he rejoined the squad making entry and entered the house a second time. Once inside, he took control of the stack and repositioned himself in the front while suppressing the enemy using fragmentation grenades and his rifle. Again, without concern for his own safety, Corporal Clairday led the Marines into the room where he single-handedly attacked the insurgents and received mortal wounds. His courageous actions enabled reinforcing assault elements to destroy the insurgent position. By his outstanding display of decisive leadership, unlimited courage in the face of heavy enemy fire, and utmost devotion to duty, Corporal Clairday reflected great credit upon himself and upheld the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and the United States Naval Service.

David Hilbert spent decades as one of the world's foremost pure mathematicians, largely uninterested in physics as a discipline. That changed abruptly in 1912. Then in his fifties, Hilbert redirected his focus almost entirely toward physics, treating himself as a beginner again. He arranged for a personal physics tutor, sat in on lectures, and worked through the subject systematically rather than relying on mathematical intuition alone. This was a deliberate, structured relearning process undertaken by someone already at the peak of his mathematical reputation. The timing mattered enormously. By 1915, Hilbert was working on the mathematical foundations of gravitation, running in parallel with Einstein's own efforts. Using a variational approach, Hilbert arrived at field equations closely tied to what became general relativity, submitting his work within days of Einstein's final paper. The episode remains a striking case study in scientific reinvention. Hilbert did not treat expertise in one field as a ceiling. His willingness to become a student again, late in life, placed him at the center of one of physics' greatest theoretical breakthroughs.

California is advancing one of the biggest projects the state has ever planned: a $20 billion(or more) tunnel running 45 miles beneath the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. The tunnel would join the State Water Project, which delivers water to 27 million people and 750,000 acres of farmland. Californians have watched big public projects run long and cost more than promised, and this one arrives with the question already attached: can the state still build something this big? The concerns are familiar. The project has already spent more than six years in planning and permitting, and construction would run well over a decade. Yet the organization responsible for building the tunnel says this project is set up differently from the ones Californians remember, beginning with who pays for it and who answers for the money. Do we want another huge money California government project with no transparency and accountability?
