Cam Williams displayed elite playmaking ability this weekend for his Carolina Wildcats Team. With a “heart over height” mentality Cam challenged his opponents with his quickness and ability to finish over larger defenders. Cam attends Gettys Middle School.

“Zoonk” Patterson hit a barrage of 3 pointers to manage the distance and secure a 46-41 win over Georgia Generals. His smooth touch has the ability to impact games in spurts and must be accounted for especially with transition pull ups. Patterson is a freshman at Stephens High.

Rush Broadway of Gotta Go Hard opened up championship Sunday with a scoring performance that ignited. Rush has scoring niche that produced in many ways - in transition, putting the ball on the floor, and beyond the arc. Rush has high hopes of becoming a Warrior of White County.

Janae Patman is a growing name in Northeast Georgia. The athletic lefty was instrumental in the success of her Commerce Select team(s). Janae is a strong playmaker that looks to score in transition play. She got NEXT!

Deyon Smith is an explosive guard with a simple but very effective handle on the ball - using clean crossovers to blow by defenders and create. He also displayed his will to compete on the defensive side using a strong posture and quick feet to disturb opposing guards.

Braylon Jones lead his team to a huge comeback victory to send his team off to championship chances. His impact consist of multiple clutch buckets with finishes in transition and over defenders. Braylon is a member of Winder Elite Travel team and attends Bear Creek Middle.

Jamoni Clemmons got a lot of buckets this weekend but none of them compared to his game winning buzzer shot to send his Troy Miles Elite team to championship. Jamoni’s scoring arsenal fueled the Troy Miles Team to a 4-0 showing and commanding performances.

Justice Whitmire got his Youngbuckets Crew off to a great start in championship game against County Elite. Justice showed a nice touch from beyond the arc and good court awareness skills to make himself available to score.

Jabari Patton and Christian Payne is a dangerous backcourt for County Line Elite (5th). The duo compliments each well with floor spacing, while creating scoring opportunities for each other. Their ability to interchange roles makes it hard to find schemes to slow their impact.

Ava Jones hit a last second shot to capture the 3rd grade girls championship for the Indians of Stephens County Ava has shown signs of improvement and a growing passion for the basketball. Picture says it all. 💪🏽💪🏽🏀

Alex Justice of Carolina Clutch serves his team as a defensive specialist. The 2027 Daniel High (South Carolina) product has a lockdown mentality that fuels his team with high energy and leads to transition possessions.

Jordyn Newman applies constant pressure to opponents as an open court facilitator and her aggressive downhill play. Jordyn finished the game in double figures as Shamrock close the division 4-0 and the 42-27 victory over Hayesville Swarm seals the division.

Tyler Sorrells and Essien Lockleer is one of the most underrated guard duos in Region 8A. The chemistry of the Commerce Tigers, along with many other valued pieces and the stardom of Sorrells and Lockleer is a winning recipe for the future of the program. Stay Tuned!

Drake Nix of NEGA Hawks has developed into a player that will surely command the attention of opposing teams with his athletic presence in the paint. Drake has showed tremendous improvement throughout the spring and will anchor the defense for Franklin Lions in years to come.

Parker Walls plays with the passion of a champion. He has the instincts of being a floor general with a high IQ. At a young age, Parker shows signs of a polished ball handler and fearless competitor. Parker is one of many pieces that make his Carolina Hawks team successful.

Tallulah Ball has been outstanding this weekend at the “Swish Extravaganza”. She has been accounted for in all stat categories, while leading her “YB” travel club to championship form. Ball has great footwork within traffic and a niche for scoring in tough situations.

Takiaha Winkfield handles the point guard responsibilities for her Net Rippers team. She has an aggressive and physical downhill style of play that weighs heavily on the defending team. “Kia” helped seal the deal of pool play with a buzzer beater to lift them to 1st place.
