Bridge the Gap: 💪🏼1️⃣0️⃣2️⃣💨 Tried something different today with our lift arrangement and speed work, using ShredMills as the primer before getting timed runs. Didn’t even use the iPads. Cranked up the resistance and had them knock out 7 hard steps. From there, they ran a 🛫10 w/ a 1-yard run-in. Going from a resisted movement — whether on a ShredMill, pushing sleds, or pulling RBs — makes it easier to focus on and replicate shapes and force production on the ground. The focus was simple today with speed: do what you did on the ShredMill on the turf. Only took first period for us to know it was going to be a good day. No comparison to our baseline stuff from August! #20 from back then would have been #95 today. 20 to 95! Wasn’t expecting that at all. We will take it, though. Doesn’t mean the next testing day will be lights out. Doesn’t mean we have arrived. But the Orioles won today! How do we know? Numbers don’t lie.
