4 college volleyball teams will compete this August at AT&T Stadium for $1M in NIL.
But they’re not actual regulation games: they’re 3-set exhibitions that don’t count towards the season. Takes all the risk out of scheduling tough opponents and will still be fun to watch.

LOVB Salt Lake defeats Madison 20-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-20 to end the season in a 3-way tie for third place. Austin gets the 3rd seed with a 5-3 record against the other team teams, Salt Lake is 4-4 and gets the third set. Nebraska's went 3-5 as its season ends.

mlv might have more success because of their fan appeal & known college players are consistently playing. if lovb wants to go beyond diehard vb fans they need to find balance with how they use rookies & finding a way to appeal to the american pro sports model & vb overseas model

With temps reaching the upper 60s, it should be an ideal February day in Nebraska to watch some beach volleyball on campus. (And not just from the dorm windows)

FINAL: LOVB Madison pulls out a 25-23, 16-25, 26-24, 23-25, 15-11 win over Nebraska. Thomas-Ailara led Madison with 24 kill on 63 swings. Mitrovic added 19 kills and 2 aces. Madison hit .291 for the match. Buijs and Larson finished with 18 kills. Drewniok had 15 kills.
