@TWBFarms Would think you need something that flexs with the concrete,Spaldings had a product for joints or their farmcrete product.

Can anyone recommend a good product to fill cracks in concrete ? would tile grout work or better to use some sort of resin ?

@TWBFarms All makes perfect sense,I always feel things just don’t get going like they used to twenty years ago and wondered if all these chemicals suppress growth.

This bucket is JUST for seed, we test all our farm saved seed and treat if required with kit we have here … in 15yrs of testing i’m yet to need to apply ! Seed treatments are the most oversold (high margin!) product in UK ag - default use is environmentally corrupt and financially damaging

We have now almost completely got rid of bulk bags on the farm which is a massive step forward for operator safety and less plastic waste in the environment 👍

@Pxfarms Good effort people,I had a lot of stick when I put water tank and pump on a trailer,used it once hopefully won’t use it again.

It took 3 tanks and a two fire engines to stop a combine going up in flames. Straw wrapped around the prop shaft. Great effort by Fire rescue, PX team, H Roworth team, Claas Eastern. Without these Tanks we would have been a combine less, great investment.

@hanslope I should of said ,the best investment you can make is a decent fork,dig holes with it after the combine to see if you really need to do anything,don’t use a spade.

@hanslope @Primewest_ltd I would be interested to know John if anyone has strip tilled on that spacing leaving clover to grow between the rows to help feed throughout the growing season or am I thinking along the wrong lines ?

There isn’t a spring tine based hoe on the market that could do this kind of job on a 40% clay based soil #Fact #SystemCameleon @Primewest_ltd

21/2/23 Spring barley all drilled up in spectacular conditions, by Me and my trusty assistant Rufus. Very excited to see how the earlier drilled crop will tiller and yield? Drilling on a Ab curve today. Next Step Drilling the Organic oats for @WhitesOats

@bravo10_4 @VaderstadUK It leaves a lovely level finish with the roller and also consolidated,the harrow does level it very well.

@neverfinished @VaderstadUK With the roller on, do you get any issues with the joins being high (not level)?

The modification we made to the topdown makes it even more versatile,doing a great job on beet land making ready for spring barley.
