Officially 1 year of Cats Collectibles TCG Just over $2,000,000 in sales 11,000 orders Almost 15,000 followers Over $20,000 donated to charity!! And most importantly, the amazing community and friends we have made on the way. You all have changed our lives in year in a way I never thought possible. We are forever grateful. I PROMISE we will are working on a video explaining our success but I promise a lot of it was simply luck and the community supporting us. But if I could give some very quick tips. 1) Your word is your bond. No matter what. Last year when tariffs came out we took over a $15,000 loss in product because customers already purchased the product, it didn’t feel right to charge them more even though the tariff was out of our control. We actually poured about half of our savings at the time to keep Cats going. But again, almost everyone knows everyone in this industry so your word is your bond. 2) Don’t trip over dollars because there is a shiny penny on the floor. Kinda goes my first point, but there will be plenty of times to make money, you don’t need to Jump on every opportunity. 3) Your customers are your boss. A lot of people want to do this to get away from their 9-5 or just to “be the man” well you will get humbled pretty quick. While 1% customers will have outlandish request, 99% they have request that should be respected and looked into. (Pricing too high, shipping, setting up a discord server) to be a shop people like and trust you need to treat your customers, no matter how small as if they are the biggest in the world. 4) Most importantly (to us) Your customers are NOT just customers. They are people just like you, who love what you sell; they are community members, they can even become lifelong friends. Never see your customer as transactional. I’m sure there is more to touch on but I just wanted to really say thank you all, there is TONS of amazing shops to buy from and you guys continuously choose us.
