#BlueJays lose, 6-3.
They’ve dropped three in a row and are now 4-4.

🚨 UNBELIEVABLE. Oil just hit $105–$110/barrel thanks to the Iran crisis… and every smart country is slashing taxes to protect their people from the pump pain.
🇦🇺 Australia: Cut excise tax IN HALF → 26¢/L savings + pushing free transit
🇮🇹 Italy: Emergency 30% fuel tax cut → ~20¢/L relief
🇪🇸 Spain: €5 BILLION package + VAT slashed to 10% → ~30¢/L cheaper
🇮🇪 Ireland: Major excise duty cuts on petrol & diesel
🇵🇹 Portugal: Big fuel tax relief & discounts
But in Mark Carney’s Canada?
ZERO federal relief.
Instead, they’re hiking the industrial carbon tax again (to $110/tonne April 1 — heading to $170) and slapping a 2% alcohol tax increase on April 1.
Some provinces are throwing crumbs with regional cuts… but we need BOLD FEDERAL ACTION NOW.
When the Finance Minister was asked what other countries are doing? He literally said they’re “following the situation very carefully.”
Following?! While Canadian families, truckers, and farmers get screwed at the pump every single day?!
This is outrageous. The rest of the world is protecting its citizens and Carney’s Canada is making life more expensive.
Enough is enough.
Cut the taxes. Help Canadians. NOW.
What do you think, Canada?
RT if you’re furious and demand real relief at the pumps! ⛽😡🇨🇦

@xwleblancx If he could only score on at least a few of his chances

@grantmccagg Why is Gally on the second unit? He has zero offensive upside anymore unless he just stands in front of the goalie.

🚨🚨🚨BREAKING:
APRIL 1 TAX HIKE BOMBSHELL LANDS ON CANADIANS TODAY
Federal alcohol excise tax jumps 2% — adding $41 million straight to Ottawa’s pockets on beer, wine & spirits.
Industrial carbon tax spikes 16% to $110 per tonne — guaranteed to push up everyday prices.
Mid-income workers face up to $262 more in CPP & EI payroll deductions this year.
But don’t worry… it’s all “fair” because Prime Minister Mark Carney just pocketed a $17,600 raise, ministers get $13,000 extra, and backbench MPs are cashing an $8,800 boost.
April Fools, Canada! 🎉
…Wait.
This isn’t a joke.
Every single one of these hikes and pay raises is 100% real... effective right now under the Carney Liberals.
The only April Fools here is us. 🇨🇦😭

🚨🇨🇦 April 1st in Canada: The joke is on you.
Today’s Reality:
📍Alcohol Tax: 2% hike on every beer & wine.
📍Industrial Carbon Tax: Spikes to $110/tonne, driving up your grocery & heat bills.
📍Payroll Taxes: CPP & EI hits are already eating your 2026 checks.
Meanwhile, the "sacrifices" in Ottawa:
✅ Mark Carney: +$17,600 raise.
✅ Ministers: +$13,000 raise.
✅ MPs: +$8,800 raise.
They get the gold mine; you get the shaft.
Happy April Fools. 🇨🇦📉

Liberals approved their 4.2% pay raise and increased taxes on beer, wine and tobacco plus raised Carbon Taxes to raise taxes higher on the price of gas.
@MarkJCarney said you will all drive EV’s vehicles and like it.
Vote Liberal they said, how bad could it possibly be.

@reporterchris @GreenZoneSK How could you not see the Habs coming with the rebuild that started 4 years ago?
English

When asked what went wrong for the #leafs this season, Keith Pelley says "we didn't see the train coming" in reference to the Montreal Canadiens and Buffalo Sabres.
English

@reporterchris Explain how the Maple Leafs are a way better team with Matthews out of their lineup than when he is in it? Maybe this explains as to why not one player did anything when Gudas hurt Austin?
English

Keith Pelley says he doesn't foresee a rebuild for the #leafs because they already have "foundational pieces in place."
