BREAKING: HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOZO! The "No Kings" movement announces historic protests on June 14th, which just so happens to be Donald Trump's 80th birthday.
This is master level trolling...
“The next 250 starts with us. As America approaches its anniversary about what story we tell. We can let strongman politics and corruption define the moment,” the movement announced on its website. “Or we can make the story of America about people coming together — across race, background, identity, belief, and community — to defend our rights and build a future rooted in people’s power. On June 14, we rise up, we sing out, and we keep organizing.”
There will also be a concert held in Trump's hometown of New York City in midtown Manhattan. The performers include Sasha Allen,Bette Midler, Patti Smith and Rufus Wainwright. Legendary actress Jane Fonda is slated to appear. Watch parties will be held in 11 states.
“Rise Up, Sing Out is about reclaiming patriotism as something inclusive, participatory, and rooted in care for one another — not power, pageantry, or one person’s spotlight,” the website added.
This announcement is certain to get right under Trump's egomaniacal skin. He wants the 14th to be all about him and is planning UFC fights on the White House lawn to commemorate the day. But instead of watching him debase our democracy with blood sports, millions of Americans will be marching in protest or tuning into the No Kings concert.
It's perfect.
