His lungs declined such that he had not been able to leave the house since April. Twitter allowed him to continue to interact with a community and have an audience for his wit, so thank you.

Ken died today from complications of chronic granulomatous disease, a rare genetic immunodeficiency. He lived a full life, with personal and professional success that exceeded what was expected for someone with this illness.

I’m not a restaurant owner but I know many friends that are. January is a brutal month - then you throw in a tough economy and a Weekend State of an emergency. Talk about a cold front. So once we’re done “chilling out”, lets do our best to “get out & eat out” #getoutandeatout
