Today I attended the first ever debate on birth trauma in Parliament hosted by courageous @theodoraclarke The speeches & accounts of lived experience were incredibly moving & repeatedly highlighted the need for greater action, support & resources for birthing people.

That was the most emotional speech I’ve ever given. It was an honour to host the first ever debate on this issue in our Parliament. I’m thrilled that the Government has listened to my call to do more to tackle #birthtrauma.
