I hate the term “friendslop” because yeah, I have friends and I want to play games designed with friends in mind. Some games are actually slop and not good in this category, but people will call anything friendslop so the term basically just means co-op.

@SoftShorkfren I dunno, I think if you consider how it currently is from a new players perspective it’s quite the good game. It’s nothing too crazy, but not bad enough I’d call it slop. Also, I’d say more than luck, it was just a game that came out at the right time with the gaming landscape

@SoftShorkfren Meccha Chameleon has me a bit mixed, as it has friendslop aspects but I’m not certain I’d call it friendslop as it actually does something creative and has its own ideas. Plus it’s quite a bit of fun with randoms too, which is rare for friendslop games.

@SoftShorkfren True, but a lot of the time people will refer to well-made games with heart in them as friendslop. If it was released today, I’m certain castle crashers, for example, would be called friendslop by a multitude of people, which irks me a bit.
