One absolute fact is nobody will ever know for sure if the Pats ever won a championship without cheating. We know Spygate lasted at least from 00-07, we know there have been multiple scandals since.. Houston, Den, Seattle could all be considered the leagues best defense this year depending on what’s most important to you. Not trying to take anything away from any of them.. Point was Josh played better than every qb this postseason not named Darnold and was this upset still.. The man had a lot to shoulder and it clearly was tough to do, on a broken foot nonetheless. Getting a lot of undeserved hate and a lot of misguided accusations of playing terrible.. I guess terrible to Josh is better than almost everyone else still.. That moment where he broke down was the moment Terry knew Sean McDermott needed fired.

I say let’s get rid of all the refs, replace them with new blood and start using technology to get things called proper at a higher rate! If you wanna make 500k a year reffing the NFL, it’s gotta be a full time gig. You should be able to be suspended quite easily as well without pay for sucking. Best of the best get the postseason games and pay them well for it as it’s a bonus.. Year round mandatory training, fitness checks, and agreeing to have no secrecy when it comes to probing for being influenced a must. If they are gonna get paid in the top couple percentile, hold them to the highest standards as there will be millions of people who would die for these jobs.. Create a localized eye in the sky for each game who can keep the game moving along quickly by getting the calls right. Allow for a couple challenges per game on just ref’s calls.
