Christians in Nigeria continue to face brutal violence and death at the hands of radical Islamic terrorists. The government in Abuja must step up and protect their citizens in the Middle Belt. It's past time to decentralize police authority so state governments can protect their citizens and stop this horrific persecution.

People's Voice (PV) Greetings, MMI News Team. Thank you for being the Voice of the Voiceless. I hope this message finds you well. I would first like to sincerely appreciate the important work you do in amplifying the voices of ordinary citizens and bringing public concerns to light. Your platform has become a trusted space where issues affecting the population can be heard and addressed. I am writing to draw your attention to a concern I personally experienced regarding the sale of certified document envelopes at a D.O.’s (Divisional Officer’s) office in Tubah Subdivision (Bambui). As part of the requirements for academic processes such as admissions and graduation at the University of Bamenda, students are required to certify documents and submit them in official envelopes with postal stamps. From my understanding, the cost breakdown is usually clear: a postal stamp valued at 500 FCFA and an envelope costing about 100 FCFA, making a total of 600 FCFA. However, during my visit to the D.O.’s office, I was required to pay 800 FCFA for the same envelope and stamp without any justification. This represents an unexplained increase of 200 FCFA. While this may appear small at first glance, it becomes significant when multiplied across the many students who depend on these services, most of whom are already facing financial constraints. What is even more concerning is that this transaction takes place within an official government office, where transparency and standard pricing are expected. I would like to emphasize that this account is based on my personal experience, and I cannot confidently speak for other D.O. offices across the region or country. However, it raises an important question about whether this is an isolated case or a broader issue affecting students and other citizens. I believe this matter deserves attention, as it touches on accountability, fairness, and the everyday struggles of young people trying to meet administrative requirements. Bringing awareness to such issues can help promote transparency and possibly lead to corrective measures. Thank you once again for your commitment to public interest journalism. I hope this concern can be looked into and, if possible, shared to create awareness. -------------------------- PV gives voice to the voiceless on MMI News. I can't belive Africa still blames colonialism after 60 years of independence.

Parents of the 168 schoolchildren killed in Minab are struggling to process the scale of the loss, returning each night to keep vigil at their children’s graves. Drop Site correspondent Mahmoud Aslan reported that families arrive carrying rugs and cushions, food, water, and candles, placing them beside the small, freshly dug graves. They clean the tombstones, tend the surrounding earth, and settle in for the night—keeping a quiet vigil until dawn. 🎥 Video report by @8Sarmad (full report is linked below)

Massive bombshell! Abby Martin reveals the Pentagon has a Hollywood office that literally dictates and oversees the scripts of movies, TV shows, and documentaries. If you want military figures on screen, the US military gets full editorial control. Pure propaganda!

Look at this. This is in Israel today. And this could be Rome, Berlin or Paris.

‘Iyanu’ Season 2 premieres tomorrow at 9 AM EST on Cartoon Network.
