Le refus de la femme, dans une société patriarcale, est perçu comme une insubordination. Cette femme ne refusait pas un acte médical. Elle refusait une violence banalisée.

His country was one of just 3 to vote against today's UN resolution to recognise the Transatlantic slave trade and chattel slavery of Africans as a historical crime against humanity. They just voted against our ancestors, but they care about us you see🥹 Whenever you wake up...

Christians in Nigeria continue to face brutal violence and death at the hands of radical Islamic terrorists. The government in Abuja must step up and protect their citizens in the Middle Belt. It's past time to decentralize police authority so state governments can protect their citizens and stop this horrific persecution.

As an African, your first job in “geopolitics” is to care for Africa and Africans. Nothing else. Take a leaf from the playbook of the Jews. They’ll do everything, but they’ll not pick anyone over their people. Same for Europeans. You people saw how Europe voted. All those “Christian” nations. All those defenders human rights. From Andorra, passing through Spain to Germany all voted to not recognize the mass kidnapping and enslavement of Africans for 4 centuries as what it is- the greatest crime against humanity. That is European unity in full display- the same unity of the Berlin Conference. The role of Africans is not to ask “and so what?” It is to see how to build on this to repair the centuries of emotional, psychological, financial and economical damage that was done and to demand the repatriation of stolen property during that period and the colonial period as well as reparations to the nations from which vital human resources were plundered and their descendants, whose identity was thwarted and who have continuously suffered institutional damage at the hands of racist systems globally.

Jayaraj kept his mobile shop open past 9pm during lockdown. Police came. Took him away. His son Bennix heard about it and rushed to the station to check on his father. They let him in. Then locked the door. Both were stripped. Tied down on a wooden table. Beaten with lathis every 10 minutes through the night. Their blood splattered the walls. The next morning police took them to a doctor who gave them a fitness certificate. Then to a magistrate who remanded them to jail without even looking at them properly. Bennix died on June 22. Jayaraj died on June 23. Yesterday a court found all 9 police officers guilty of murder. It took 6 years. Sentencing is on March 30. The FIR said Jayaraj and Bennix rolled on the ground and used obscene language. CCTV from the shop next door showed nothing of that sort happened. The case against them was completely fabricated. They died for a crime they never committed.

Sidenote: Why is Cameroon producing stamps featuring Ghandi of all people? 🤨
MMI News@MimiMefoInfo

People's Voice (PV) Greetings, MMI News Team. Thank you for being the Voice of the Voiceless. I hope this message finds you well. I would first like to sincerely appreciate the important work you do in amplifying the voices of ordinary citizens and bringing public concerns to light. Your platform has become a trusted space where issues affecting the population can be heard and addressed. I am writing to draw your attention to a concern I personally experienced regarding the sale of certified document envelopes at a D.O.’s (Divisional Officer’s) office in Tubah Subdivision (Bambui). As part of the requirements for academic processes such as admissions and graduation at the University of Bamenda, students are required to certify documents and submit them in official envelopes with postal stamps. From my understanding, the cost breakdown is usually clear: a postal stamp valued at 500 FCFA and an envelope costing about 100 FCFA, making a total of 600 FCFA. However, during my visit to the D.O.’s office, I was required to pay 800 FCFA for the same envelope and stamp without any justification. This represents an unexplained increase of 200 FCFA. While this may appear small at first glance, it becomes significant when multiplied across the many students who depend on these services, most of whom are already facing financial constraints. What is even more concerning is that this transaction takes place within an official government office, where transparency and standard pricing are expected. I would like to emphasize that this account is based on my personal experience, and I cannot confidently speak for other D.O. offices across the region or country. However, it raises an important question about whether this is an isolated case or a broader issue affecting students and other citizens. I believe this matter deserves attention, as it touches on accountability, fairness, and the everyday struggles of young people trying to meet administrative requirements. Bringing awareness to such issues can help promote transparency and possibly lead to corrective measures. Thank you once again for your commitment to public interest journalism. I hope this concern can be looked into and, if possible, shared to create awareness. -------------------------- PV gives voice to the voiceless on MMI News. And that is why so many West African imbeciles think America is their saviour and Israel is fighting for their Christian god. They've been programmed by US military propaganda packaged as Hollywood movies. Whenever they wake up...

Massive bombshell! Abby Martin reveals the Pentagon has a Hollywood office that literally dictates and oversees the scripts of movies, TV shows, and documentaries. If you want military figures on screen, the US military gets full editorial control. Pure propaganda!
