As a trader, your number one job is to mitigate risk as much as possible. Factors like the trend, momentum, and volume flow can either be your biggest friend or your worst enemy, i.e., to be on the right side of the trade. Somehow, people have this strange tendency to forget stuff like this. The price action you're seeing isn't new...your entire chart is filled with it. Price goes from accumulation into an upward creep. When resistance is broken, it leads to exuberance, causing the price to shoot up until buyers get exhausted. Longs get unloaded, and a buildup in shorts indicates the distribution phase. Support is then broken, resulting in panic selling, just to start everything all over again. Yes GBTC was dumping which is a big part of the reason for the sell-off, but Binance perps shorted with them, whilst retail continued to buy. But now retail are only just starting to puke their #Bitcoin spot holdings.
