Our team is working to restore functionality as quickly as possible. Just sharing as I have seen it personally on two services myself, and not on others. Are you seeing it too? Just a guess, could be they needed to restart some services that they share, or is this potentially a greater or potentially malicious attack going on? Real blockchain gets attacked too, but it just keeps chugging along

Part 12 🧵 Why has Trump been pushing stablecoins so much? The passage of the GENIUS Act was a priority for Trump. Why? It promotes INNOVATION in the digital financial ecosystem. Trump is trying to quickly implement a stablecoin payment system. Why? Here are four big reasons: 1) Cross-border payments and corporate treasury management “Currently, cross-border payments can take days to settle and involve multiple intermediaries. Stablecoins can facilitate B2B, corporate treasury activity, and consumer remittances with lower fees and faster speeds. For businesses, this means faster supplier payments and more efficient cash management, particularly across borders.” Stablecoins help decentralize world trade and streamline supply routes. Removing centralized control and creating greater opportunities for businesses and countries to succeed. 2) Enhanced payment processing “Traditional payment service providers could benefit from cheaper and faster payments through integrating stablecoins into existing platforms and checkout experiences to streamline global payouts and settlements.” A cheaper and faster payment system globally, will help “stabilize” prices across borders, which makes everything cheaper. 3) USD access in emerging markets “Africa and Latin America have seen fast growth in stablecoin adoption due to the instability of local currencies, and in countries where banking infrastructure is lacking or local currencies are unstable.” How do you create a “safeguard” for the people of the world? How do you provide an ESCAPE from future oppressive regimes and purposeful inflation of a nation’s currency? You allow ACCESS to other currencies as a safe haven asset, in order to preserve the people’s wealth. It’s already happening in many third world countries and that’s why there is so much growth in stablecoins. They are helping to lift oppressed people out of poverty. 4) Asset settlement “With stablecoins now regulated and required to be collateralized by cash-like instruments, banks and financial institutions can feel more confident about using stablecoins for accelerating trade settlement for both traditional and tokenized securities.” The new laws regulating stablecoins and requiring them to be collateralized with cash equivalents, creates the pathway to quickly implement the new blockchain system alongside the current banking system. That helps PREVENT chaos during the transition. Wall Street can see the writing on the wall and are trying to get ahead of the game. “The GENIUS Act’s passing will impact fintech and traditional financial services. While blockchain technology is meant to disintermediate traditional finance companies, big banks and large payment networks are already innovating with stablecoins to stay competitive. Overall, the legitimizing of stablecoins could boost tokenization efforts and be a catalyst for both incumbents and challengers that support tokenization technologies and tokenized products.” ssga.com/us/en/intermed… It’s all about COMPETITION. The GENIUS Act changed everything. It legitimized the stablecoin payment system. The old centralized ACH payment system, is going to quickly become obsolete because of the high fees and slow speed of transactions. Trump is FORCING this COMPETITION “within” the banking system and FORCING the banks to build the new system, in order to COMPETE. Who is really in control? Would the big banks be decentralizing their own monopoly over the money, if they were in control? They don’t have a choice. “Once a niche tool used primarily by crypto traders to fund exchange accounts, stablecoins have evolved into one of the industry’s most compelling use cases. Major players like JPMorgan, Citigroup and Bank of America are now competing for a share of this growing market.” By FORCING the Wall Street banks to implement a stablecoin payment system, it will also FORCE the world to comply because the entire financial system is connected. It’s “genius.”
