Good evening quantum lovers 🟦 Tonight i speak about : The quantum computing race and what it means for Quip’s timeline I've been tracking the quantum computing hardware race more closely since getting into @quipnetwork and I want to share my honest read on where things stand. Right now you have: IBM: gate-based, targeting fault-tolerant quantum computing, made major error correction breakthroughs in 2024-2025. Their timeline keeps compressing. Google: Willow chip showed 100x improvement in error correction last year. They're accelerating faster than their own public roadmaps suggested. D-Wave: annealing architecture, already commercially deployed, already winning blocks on Quip today. Microsoft: topological qubits, claimed a breakthrough in 2025 that's still being independently verified. My read on what this means for @quipnetwork : D-Wave's commercial advantage is real today. But as gate-based hardware matures and error rates drop, the landscape for what hardware wins PoUW blocks could shift. The interesting question which nobody seems to be publicly asking is whether @quipnetwork 's PoUW mechanism is hardware-agnostic enough to incorporate gate-based QPUs as they mature, or whether the architecture is specifically optimized for annealing. If it's the former, Quip gets better as ALL quantum hardware improves. That's a very different risk profile than betting on one manufacturer. My opinion: this is the most important technical question for @quipnetwork 's long-term competitiveness and I'd love to hear cadillion or rcarback address it directly. Is PoUW tied to annealing specifically, or does it generalize to other quantum architectures?

Zcash's biggest network upgrade in years is now live Ironwood brings: - A new Ironwood shielded pool - Stronger security guarantees for shielded transactions - Independently verifiable supply integrity - Privacy remains protected - A stronger foundation for the Zcash network At Gemini, ZEC deposits from shielded sources and withdrawals to shielded addresses are supported from Day 1.

I want to share something meta about the @quipnetwork mindshare campaign that I think is worth the community's attention. The leaderboard isn't just a marketing mechanism. It's a proof of concept for the project's broader thesis about useful work. Think about it: Classical mindshare campaigns: reward whoever posts most frequently or has the biggest existing following. Volume and reach win. @quipnetwork 's mindshare system: rewards quality, consistency, and actual ecosystem participation alongside reach. Your node operation matters. Your quest completion matters. Your genuine engagement matters. That's the same philosophy as PoUW applied to community growth: ❌ Waste effort on meaningless volume ✅ Produce output that has actual utility I've been climbing this leaderboard, the slow way real threads, real opinions, real node operation. Not spam, not bots, not paid amplification. My honest take: the leaderboard design is teaching me something about the project's values in the same way running a node did. The mechanism reveals the philosophy. Whether or not I make top 50, I think this is the right way to build a crypto community. The people who earned their way up this board are the ones who'll still be here post-TGE. Where are you on the leaderboard and what's your approach been?

should we book our flights to @SolanaEvents Breakpoint using PayBox? hmmm not sure if I'm supposed to tell you about that yet
