The events in Roscrea show that the government has abandoned respect for the law of the land and for proper legal procedures. Sending in a Garda public order squad to enforce a foreign plantation is the action not of a democratic government, but of a tyranny. The government is undermining confidence in our institutions and threatening the stability of the state. We are now witness to the regrettable situation whereby the agencies of the state are actively seeking to undermine the integrity of the nation and of its laws. In particular the Planning laws, which were specifically subverted to facilitate the mass importation of people from abroad, now contain a radical inequality whereby Irish people are put through the ringer if they want to put a roof over their own heads, but major developments to house foreign people, many of them of highly dubious origin, are not even assessed form a planning point of view. Here Michael Leahy, chairman of the Irish Freedom Party and candidate for Ireland South in the upcoming European Parliament Elections outlines the radical inconsistencies in the planning laws which are being used to facilitate the plantation of Ireland. Such inconsistencies will undermine public confidence and drive people to anti-democratic action unless they are curbed, and quickly. It is important however not to be forced into a violent reaction but to wait for the opportunity to send this government a message in the upcoming elections and to be prepared to ditch them for good at the next general election.
