I always tell people to quit their jobs… So what if someone said that to MY EMPLOYEES?! 😱 Firstly, they are not ‘my’ employees, they are their own person. And secondly, everyone that works for me could EASILY start their own company. I want them to have the ability and option to start their own business should they want to. This lifts the quality of my team up… And it ensures that I have the best people possible working with me. Everyone should want this. There's been some backlash against me telling people that you should quit their job and start their own business. But the real point here is you want everyone to have the ability to have the skills of: Entrepreneurship, self resilience, the ability to have an idea and follow through on it, to think outside the box, and to self manage. You want people to have these skills. You don't want them trapped in the job. So everyone I'm listing in my team below has the ability to start their own business. But here's the brilliance: They don't always need to start their own business. They just need the chance to get equity in the business they're working on. But at the same time, I'm proud of the fact that they could all start their own businesses individually and be successful. They’ve CHOSEN to work with me, and that's the key. Choice. You want your team to have every option under the sun, but still choose you because that's the best option for them.
