After a few hours of discussion with my team, we've published V1 of the nftliquid whitepaper. This article explains why our project is truly innovational: We plan to offer Fair Value indexes for rarity traits in pNFTs from @Collector_Crypt instead of illiquid singular cards, as this will allow for HFT and deeper orderbooks. Read more here: tradeonliquid.xyz/whitepaper We will be editing the whitepaper as we discuss and plan more.

Pokemon cards are just the start! We plan to offer indexes to trade hockey, basketball, baseball, anime cards, and everything else!

Instead, with our old code, we intend to create a sort of screener. We plan to call it: NFTScreener We plan to build one direct place where you can paste in a NFT's mint and instantly view a chart for it. Yes: we will include update social mechanisms: NFTs should be linked to personas on open marketplaces. Think vouching & reputation systems. Think safer pNFT shopping for investors.

We've received questions about why we shifted to indexes: Direct individual are easily price manipulated, and bad actors were exploiting our platform for profit. In a single day, the floor price for some cards went from $0.4 to $70, without any real buyers. To put it simply: imagine if someone bought an apple for 50x the normal price, just to pump their Long 20x apple position. This is what we are trying to prevent.

As more cards are scanned and priced into the index, the PFVI should stable and will still have price that movies, but it shouldn't spike up and down 40% anymore. The cool part about this asset is that its not just funding rates or nftliquid traders, its backed by real data from real pokemon pNFTS :) pfvi.tradeonliquid.xyz

Our next step is to get a working solana program live, with the oracle seeded with creator rewards. The pool will open live with $1000 deposited.

Today we are releasing our first tradeable index offered at nftliquid: PVFI. We will be explaining more and updating the Methodology in the future while we scan these cards. pfvi.tradeonliquid.xyz/methodology CARDS offers 70,000+ cards. Gonna take a while to scan them all + add them to the index. Putting that aside, this is the first massive step towards a unified trading index, before we plan to make one for sports, anime, and other pNFTs/NFTs. Takea look at the public API here: pfvi.tradeonliquid.xyz Open-source coming in the future, we want to make sure it is fully up to date before we open trading for it/let others run price calculators locally. We plan to open trading soon aswell, by deploying a program on the solana mainnet and sharing the PDA here for transparency. Ask us anything down below ⬇️

@Collector_Crypt has done 490million in volume, and 250million in gacha purchases. There are thousands of pNFT cards of every type people are currently holding. The core thesis of nftliquid is providing a real time price for all types of assets. That is the simplest way to put it. Think back to the early days of DeFi: Spot price was mainly derived from a single source: Coinbase Then BitMex came along, pioneered perpetual contracts, and the most profitable project in DeFi right now is a perpetual L1. That is where RWAs stand now, and it requires fair pricing. The average retail investor will NOT be comfortable in investing something they cannot access the direct value of, at any time.
