@GregAbbott_TX I would invite all those believing schools are indoctrinating students to come volunteer in a Texas school to see with your own eyes that teachers and schools in Texas follow a mandated state curriculum. Stop spreading misinformation about Texas schools.

Our schools are for education, NOT indoctrination. Laws I signed this year will get woke agendas out of our classrooms and put parents back in charge. To fully empower parents in Texas, we must deliver school choice to every family.

Today my fourth graders reflected on our classroom expectations and identified things we are doing really well (glows) and things we should continue to work on (grows). They then selected two grows to use as a class goal for this next week. Their self-reflection was amazing.

@shelbywebb @GovAbbott, @MikeMorath Great start but students, parents and teachers do not need the stress of STAAR this year. Let them focus on facing a pandemic safely and continuing to learn about online learning pedagogy. Districts can use their own testing to measure student growth.
