This lady went viral a couple of months ago for having an account blowup but vowing to make it all back (the credo of every gambler). I responded and pointed out that, unless she completely changed her approach to the market and stopped trying to create a living out of scalping 0D and weekly options, it was going to keep happening to her and she was going to blow her account again before the next snow. That what she was doing wasn't investing OR trading, it was gambling over an extended period of time where the house will eventually win. That she needed to step back and learn how to actually UNDERSTAND the markets and actually trade them instead of trying to scalp them. I threw out my usual recommendations: Go ahead and follow me for whatever nuggets I might provide, follow @themarketbishop and go check out his resources, follow @Quinttrades and learn from him. MAN did her followers and those in the FinTwit community who are obsessed with this style of gambling (which is what it is, not trading) get angry at me for it. Anyhow, she completely blew her account. Again. The worst part? She still doesn't understand WHY it keeps happening to her. It's not because she "oversized". It's not because she tried to mechanic the trade. It's not that she didn't "follower her rules". Those "rules" are a skinsuit, a cover to paper over the fact that what she's doing is nothing more than putting chips on a table in Vegas and hoping. She leans on the fact that "it worked for earlier trades", not understanding that you can get it right 30 times in a row, but with this "style", you're always just 1-4 bad moves away from losing it all. Which means she's going to put money in the slot machine. Again. And try to do the same things. Again. And lose it all. Again. A never-ending cycle. Because it's easier to gamble than it is to actually learn a skill that will generate real wealth. Her honesty here isn't an inspiration. It's a cautionary tale. Her entire market existence will continue to be a cautionary tale until she figures out what she's doing is not a strategy, it's an designed extraction.

@carterentinc @lyndiewarren @RandPaul I don’t need to prove anything to you. I have every right to be critical. I’ve pointed out the unconstitutionality of requiring voter ID. I’m not going to talk in circles with you. We disagree. That’s fine. That’s the benefit of the first amendment.

@ngillty @lyndiewarren @RandPaul You aren’t making any substantive points. You’re just trying to be critical. But, if you are going to be critical, at least have the right information. And, try to be informative rather than combative. Make a point and then support it.

Here is a question every Senator should be able to answer without flinching: Should only U.S. citizens be allowed to vote in U.S. elections? If the answer is yes, then there is no reason to oppose the SAVE America Act. It puts a real proof-of-citizenship requirement in place for federal elections. Senate leadership needs to bring this bill to the floor for a vote.

@ngillty @lyndiewarren @RandPaul Voter registration does nothing to address the issue of fraud when it comes to ID. I’m not suggesting that it’s widespread. I’m only saying that there are isolated events of voter fraud that can be remedied with a citizenship requirement. Through the states!

@ngillty @lyndiewarren @RandPaul I’m not sure what law you are reading. Most states do mandate that a person show ID when voting. There are sanctuary states that waive that requirement or issue IDs for the purpose of voting. This is why there is a problem. But voter ID is required by the states.

@ngillty @lyndiewarren @RandPaul You aren’t being forced. If you want to vote, show your ID proving who you are. That’s a reasonable requirement. If you are a citizen, demonstrate that through the state registration process. That’s reasonable also. This can be managed by the STATES!

@lyndiewarren @carterentinc @RandPaul You didn’t even know there was a supreme court case until I mentioned it. There’s no legislative mandate, ergo, no voter ID is required. Maybe you should ask yourself why republicans vote against it. Most legislators are lawyers. We understand the law better than you.

@carterentinc @lyndiewarren @RandPaul Being forced to produce ID, birth certificate, whatever to prove citizenship. Be mad all you want. Your opinion is also protected by the first amendment. Mine is as well.

@lyndiewarren @carterentinc @RandPaul It infringes upon the first amendment. The Supreme Court stated otherwise, but a large majority of lawyers disagree with the Court. The republican talking points about voter fraud are unsubstantiated.

@carterentinc @ngillty @RandPaul That’s what we have now and people are clearly unhappy with it. We must have a uniform policy for all states so people don’t continue to question voter integrity.

@carterentinc @RandPaul The law deters voter turnout, which favors republicans. We already have voter registration. The fuck is the point of verifying your identity twice to vote in person in an already long line.

@RandPaul The problem is citizenship in voting is an issue for the states that are to decide when they are setting state law regarding voting requirements. STATES, can easily pass laws that require citizenship and that is what we should be pushing for!

@RandPaul You know better than this. You've probably actually read the bill. Give up on this federal power grab and threat to privacy, write a clean bill that simply requires government-issued photo ID to vote, and you'll have massive support all over the country.

@RandPaul It deters voter turnout. Waiting in an already long line to check citizenship? That’s why we register to vote before we vote. This is a blatant attempt to make it an even worse experience to vote in person. The line will be worse than at the DMV. This is stupid.

@midascabal It’s easy to call stocks that fit within the space and AI themes. None of this makes you special. The character of the market is shifting. Buying now is terrible advice. You’re grifting at this point. Tell the fucking truth asshole.
