@TeamTrackhouse Been rebounding for a while. I think it’s time to focus on racing instead of being “cool”

@TeamKFBfan8 @NASCAR I mean Fox gets what it deserves. I tune out because of the commercials and then stage break cautions that ruin the flow.
English

@NASCAR viewership has declined every week since Daytona.
Daytona 7.4m
Atlanta 4.4m
COTA 3.9m
Phoenix 2.8m
Vegas 2.7m
Darlington 2.4m
Martinsville 2.3m
6 straight weeks of decline, I don’t think this can continue to be ignored, there’s a glaring issue that needs addressing.

@ronsterd89 Plug it yourself! Or are you one of those sissy boys who never learned how or played video games in moms basement until 40 when she passed away. Now you eat pizza rolls breakfast lunch and dinner.

Tires with 11,000 miles and a nail. Firestone told me they are not repairable. Firestone said this is not repairable because of the location and that I would need a new tire. It's a slow leak, about 1-2 psi a day. I am in disbelief that this is not repairable.. Can I not just get a fix kit? 🤧

English

@ThomBradley8 @ronsterd89 I plugged tires like this for myself for years and never had issues. I also drive approx 35-40k miles a year for work.
English

@ronsterd89 Unfortunately it is too close to the sidewall. The flexing of the tire will cause the patch to come undone.

@AlextheAdm1ral @DaleJr @jeff_gluck @dennyhamlin #2 is the best compromise and makes the most sense. They can even still work in some commercials like normal.
English

@DaleJr @jeff_gluck @dennyhamlin IMO there are 3 main options:
1) Stage caution laps do not count
2) We stop throwing cautions for stage breaks, and award points under green
3) We remove stages entirely and go back to pre-2017 (my favorite)
English

.@dennyhamlin on Actions Detrimental calls for changes to caution length: "We're running too long under caution. We have to find a way to shorten them up, but we won't shorten them up as long as we're doing what we're doing in the sense of 'TV has to catch the pit stops live.' OK, well then you've got to shorten your commercials or something. ... (O'Reilly) especially, I'm telling you my experience as a watcher: It was a single-car wreck, there's not debris on the track, there's no clean-up to be had, and it's just yellow...yellow...yellow. I'm like 'CHOOSE ALREADY!'"
He acknowledged TV needs commercials during the cautions to run a business, but "to me, it's hurting the watching experience."

@jeff_gluck Keep the stages, eliminate the cautions. Keep the flow of the race and the stage points. Win-win
