Doing my makeup on the train this morning and a random man told me he likes women to have a more natural look. I told him I like men to have a more silent look. 🤷‍♀️

Asked by anxious young pt if she was going to die. Replied ‘not right now you’re not!’ She then almost immediately arrested and passed. This job is something else 😩 #nhs #nhsfrontline #myshiftinatweet #ED #nurse

Stripy socks have been banned in ED because a patient thought we looked ‘unprofessional’. If your biggest problem is my stripy socks I may go as far to suggest that maybe you shouldn’t be in A&E. Don’t want to appear unprofessional while I’m saving your life 🙄🧦
