Robert Thomas is ELITE He’s not getting traded unless it’s for a godfather offer. Holloway-Thomas-Snuggerud is the future Blues top line for years to come

@RedbirdFarmhand I was a competitive baseball player who played first base and am 5 ft 9 5 ft 10 and I actually didn’t have many issues with high ones because I was taught to stretch up not out for the high ones and the guys I played with are way less accurate

@RedbirdFarmhand I actually wouldn’t be concerned about height with the accuracy of our infielders. Plus most infielders miss low and if they miss high a 6 ft 2 guy isn’t catching it either plus his legs are strong where he probably has a great vertical if he does have to jump high

With Rainiel Rodriguez getting off to a blistering start to the season , I see a lot of people suggesting that they should switch his position to 1B. First off I don't think people recognize that he is an above average catcher for a 19-year-old. That doesn't mean he's an above average catcher for a 23-year-old, but for a 19-year-old he is more than respectable behind the plate. Second, Rainiel is very short for a 1B, his listed height is 5'10, though I think that is generous and he's likely and inch or two below that listed height, obviously they are getting him experience at 1B, but I'm not sure how well that will translate to the upper minors, Right now I think the catcher path is the right path.

@tbhorka This response gives me sooo much more hope that he will be here longer. To me he would only go somewhere that has a special qb that is young and historically is a winning NFL team year after year and even then I’d be surprised if he leaves after hearing this

Marcus Freeman says he’s become aware of just how good he has it at Notre Dame as more NFL teams have shown interest in him. "Be careful of always wanting more, more, more when you have something really good." That’s applicable life advice, by the way.

@BluesReactor Matthews will not be a Blue as he wants to play out west. For Brady, it’ll take Kyrou, 2 of the number one picks in this years draft and possibly another piece.

What would it cost the #stlblues to land Brady and Auston Matthews over the summer? Kyrou, Dvorsky, Carbonneau +++++++?

@datzoulou @RedbirdFarmhand I totally get it I just think they could’ve spent a little more and built a better defense. These young guys need confidence to help in the rebuild and if they battle back constantly then bullpen blows it then it brings that confidence down

As much as I love Kyle Leahy in the rotation. This bullpen could desperately use a Kyle Leahy

Nathan Church just doesn’t have it. I’m fine with his glove being a fourth outfielder but I’m over it.

At this point, I'm rooting for the Blues to make the playoffs, but I think we will really regret in 2-3 years time these late season surges we had that led to literally nothing (last 3 seasons) Don't mean to be a downer, just have been thinking about this #stlblues

@danreilly It looks like Thomas is having fun again which makes a big difference going forward and has to change Steens mind on trading him in the offseason. IMO blues gotta figure out a way to get Tkachuk and hope Kyrou is willing to go to Ottawa

“Disaster” is not how I would describe that #stlblues top line of Bob Thomas, Jimmy Snipes, and Hollywood. They are fast, electric and potent. You’d prefer an unproven prospect I’m guessing?

@winns_shiesty Problem is Velasquez has one hit in 18 plate appearances in Memphis so he’s not really doing anything to force their hand either unfortunately
