It's Friday so there really is light at the end of the tunnel and this is exactly what over 1,000 of you will experience for yourselves over the weekend. Your team are already on the way and (whisper it), the forecast looks perfect over the weekend.

As the nights start to draw in and the temperatures drop, sometimes, it is all about just getting it done. What are your motivational tips for "getting it done"?

It was quite the weekend with two popular races taking place on Sunday. For trail lovers, the Bedgebury Half Marathon & 10km, whilst it was tarmac all the way for Hove Prom 10km runners in Sussex. Which were you at? Let's see those medals for #medalmonday!

As we head to the Chelmsford Marathon & Half Marathon this weekend, there may be times when friends and family will question the sanity of the runners...perhaps even some of the runners may even question it themselves! This is such an apt quote ahead of a big race! You got this!

Today's motivational post is dedicated to all those who took on @HastingsHalfmarathon last Sunday and for those about to embark on Chelmsford Marathon and Half Marathon this coming weekend. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other - you decide the pace!

It is always sad when a team member leaves but for this little one, it really is time to say goodbye. The clock stops at 137,000 miles or 5,229 marathons if you prefer. Farewell little van - you served us well. Enjoy your journey to your final finish line.

There was a warm welcome for all at the finish line of the @hastingshalfmarathon yesterday. 13.1 miles of sunshine set the runners off and the gleam off those incredible brasses was something else. We are renaming #medalmonday to #brassmonday Come on runners, shaka ya brass!

There is a lot of excitement in the Nice Work office now and it is building to a crescendo. After all of the too-ing and fro-ing earlier in the year, after all of the disappointments of the postponement, FINALLY Hastings Half is back! How are you feeling ahead of race day?

'Comparison is the thief of joy' - a phrase that all runners will have heard at some time in their running life. So why do we do it? Whether you are the top athlete in the country or taking your first steps in races, at the end of the day, it comes down to you!

The arch at Folkestone is always an impressive feature of the race but did you manage to reach up for your goals? Sunday saw Nice Work teams at Folkestone and Eridge - two very different races over two very different courses. Show off your medals and beers!

It seems the chase is on this weekend with the return of two firm Nice Work favourites. The Folkestone Rotary Half Marathon with our friends at @rcfolkestone is back whilst those who prefer slightly muddier conditions, head to the Eridge 10 with Tunbridge Wells Harriers

"You never know until you try". How many of us heard this as kids from our parents and family. So why do we forget this so easily when we're grown ups? Be it a new distance, a new trail or road race, why not give it a go? We're Nice Work & we run races - the rest is up to you!

Thumbs up for beer and cake? Ok, so this is not your average post, but the Eridge 10 isn't your average race! It's muddy, it's hilly and it's THIS Sunday. Our runners tell us how they love this event - perhaps the motivation of the beers and cake are what get them through.
