If you are heading to your local pub tonight, very likely your beer (not lager) is brewed with polyploid S. cerevisiae. These are sterile and considered genetic dead-ends. @SimoMozzachiodi didn't agree with this... see below. Big congrats for driving the project. Cheers🍻
