Why can't they see that application is the key issue here? Enforced, decontextualised qualifications will only lead to further disengagement. We need to show young people WHY and HOW maths is so important for their future. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politi…

UK government to install 'wheel of fortune' spinning wheels into every FE college / sixth form by close of March. Each A-Level student will be given one opportunity (or spin) to decide where they will spend the next 3 years.
