🚨 More Big News!
In case you missed @SMB_Attorney's announcement this morning, in connection with the release of the 2025 Edition of the @smblawgroup Letter of Intent (LOI) template, @SMB_Attorney, @Sam_Rosati and I will be hosting a free webinar on Friday, January 31 at 1:30 PM central.
If you want an invite, just reply below or retweet this post, and you'll receive a DM with the registration link.
Additionally, we received thousands of requests for the 2025 LOI template. This demand was completely unexpected and the technology unfortunately got overwhelmed.
If you'd like a second chance to get a copy, just reply below!
The SMB Law Group LOI template has been tested and refined in hundreds of deals, representing over $1 billion in closed transactions.
Over the years, we see the same issues pop up... unclear terms, mismatched expectations, and other common headaches that cause busted deals.
We’ve taken everything we’ve learned, fixed those problems, and built it into this updated version. It’s simple, clear, and designed to avoid the usual roadblocks. If you’re working on a deal, this could save you a ton of time and hassle.
I you want to register for the webinar or get a copy of the LOI...or both...we're happy to share!

@jspujji He's a very genuine and incredible person. Grateful to call @syedbalkhi a friend, and to have worked with him over the years.

A year ago my brother was a sales rep selling attic insulation and rodent proofing. I was working in BigLaw.
At 3 AM we met in Rocky Mountain National Park to climb Mt. Ida. We climbed and talked and talked.
Brothers are interesting. We have thrown punches at each other more than a few times, but we would lay everything on the line for each other without blinking.
Neither of us was cut out to be employees. We are insubordinate, indignant, and opinionated. We grew up with a chip on our shoulder. We didn't kiss the right butts and shake the right hands. We are both born entrepreneurs.
On Mt. Ida, we both struggled with the self-evident decision. We needed to leave our jobs and start our own businesses.
At one point I said to him, I work with tons of founders and entrepreneurs, the only difference between them and their employees is the size of their balls.
My big brother flew back home to Washington State and quit his job. He started his own attic insulation and rodent-proofing company, called Attic Doctor.
This past year, he called me to talk almost every day. There have been tears, despair, and absolute ecstasy when a client leaves a positive review (84 as of today). He grinded through unimaginable challenges. This year, he will make over $2.5m in revenue and no one will ever be able to fire him.
One day, I will sit down and write threads about how he grew his company from 0-1.
But today, I am just so friggin proud of him. Congratulations, brother on one year of freedom.
