What’s a tiny, relatively unimportant modern innovation that has made an outsized improvement to your life?
Mine is audiobooks - I have so much less time to sit and read as an adult but I soak up books on the go instead.
On Holy Saturday I am re-enacting that lesser known bit of the passion narrative where one of the disciples (played by my wife) has signed up for a 10k and the others grudgingly get to Kew at 8am to watch.
Such a joy to see daughter and husband singing together in a John Passion @ChCh_Oxford@Frideswides Both so proud of each other. A beautiful and generous performance conducted by the wonderful @helensmee ❤️

I’ve been reflecting on a lot of things the last 24 hours but the prayer that’s most struck me is this, by that lesser known second Elizabethan Divine, Princess Margaret.
I wonder how many others find that their best thinking is done while walking, exercising, in nature, otherwise away from office environments. Nu creativity is quickly saturated while seated or at a desk.
