Man, if I could go back... It's hard to have any regret with the past because of where I am at today. I actually would never want to do anything else with my life. Coaching, creating relationships, & changing lives through a game is what I was meant to do. With that said... There is a little piece of me that wonders, what if? What if I would've worked harder? What if I pushed a little more? If I could've... Is there a chance I could I still be playing? Could I have done more with my rare opportunity? Now, the weird thing is I was always one of if not the hardest working guys on any of the teams I was on. That's the only way I could survive and hang with the best guys. And I still wonder, did I have more to give? You have to have the motor to outwork everyone and show up day after day. Hold strong to your belief in self. Put your head down and grind. Become a mentally tough, emotionally sound player. You will be successful. Players- Right now you have the chance to be the guy. The guy who does all of the little things right. The guy that goes above and beyond controlling the controllables. That guy wins the long game. He simply puts himself in more positions to be "the guy." Don't be the guy that will look back and say, "What if?" Take advantage of your opportunity and relish in the thrill of the chase. It's the best journey you'll ever go on. Leave it all on the field and look back on your career with no regret. You deserve the chance to push yourself to be the best you can be. Push yourself so you leave no doubt.
