@nick203cm @aaronsmith They're both the same in my opinion it's taking a life and yes war isn't black and white but all soldiers know the rules of engagement before they deploy
English

No, i understand. But war is not black or white like their rules. You ask me is a Taliban fighter without gun in hand a threat and my belief is whilst that person is alive, he is a threat. Unarmed civilian you have a valid point. If killing a group of innocent civilians is accepted collateral damage and no one is held accountable or goaled then a individual who kills a unarmed combatant should have the same consequences. What is worse, killed innocent civilians or unarmed fighter???
English

@nick203cm @aaronsmith Collateral damage is not ok at all but it's a part of war and is nothing like shooting an unarmed combatant. And no you wouldn't be a legitimate target because you're unarmed you seem to have a really hard time understanding war still has rules
English

So, hitting illegitimate targets whether accidental or not and killing innocent people is okay?? Collateral damage?? Say, I am a watching a supposed fighter with gun run behind a building with a weapon then a minute or two later re appear from behind building without weapon. Legal to shoot??
English

@nick203cm @aaronsmith Yes but it would be collateral damage
English

@M_I_K_E_68 @aaronsmith Okay, is it illegal to kill innocent civilians in a drone or missile strike?? Say two Taliban fighters jump in the back of a ute with two other guys who are unarmed and then a black hawk helicopter kills them all with a missile. Is that illegal??
English

@nick203cm @aaronsmith Listen that's not the point you can't say this guys not a threat right now but he could be in the future so I'll do it while he's unarmed now
English

@M_I_K_E_68 @aaronsmith Listen, do the Taliban follow those rules??
English

@nick203cm @aaronsmith Doesn't work like that rules of engagement prohibit it
English

My point is. Ben Robert Smith was sent over there to kill Taliban fighters. Right?? Taliban fighter is carrying a gun. No problem to kill, correct? Taliban fighter puts down gun. No good to kill??? Taliban fighter is still a threat regardless because that fighter wants to kill you whether he has a gun now or later. This is like the Jai Abberton defense kill first because you believe that person was going to kill you. All Taliban fighters are a threat to any Australian soldier so unarmed today doesn't mean no threat tomorrow.
English

@nick203cm @aaronsmith But you said whether he has a gun or not yes he was allegedly a Taliban fighter but if he had no gun you can't just take the law into your own hands
English

@M_I_K_E_68 @aaronsmith Well if he was carrying a gun does that make him a threat?? Unless you are a mind reader how would you know??
English

@nick203cm @aaronsmith Wasn't carrying a gun so tell me how was he a threat?
English

@JasonQCitizen1 What is worse is the mother had this guy living in the house.
English

If the perpetrator has no chance of rehabilitation, is a repeat offender less than a week since released from prison and goes on to rape and murder an infant, should the law be changed in Australia to re-introduce the death penalty?
Why should the tax payer for the bill?
Why should anyone have to live with the possibility of future release?
Who is served by keeping the perp alive?
If proven…

English

@ShereleMoody By the fact you are posting this. I guess you are claiming this is at the hands of a male?????
English

@nick203cm @Rexdinasaur @KatyKray73 @LarfatLibstears @zfightingirish It was rhetorical question, but I know what you're saying!! Way past time that they started taking responsibility for their own shitness rather than just blaming "white man"!!!!
English

NT Police have arrested Jefferson Lewis for the alleged abduction, r*pe & murder of Kumanjayi Little Baby.
He was found Thursday night at Charles Creek Town Camp in Alice Springs. Locals reportedly attacked & beat him before his arrest.
Lewis was hospitalised as an angry crowd gathered outside, with police using tear gas to disperse them.
English

@soyundy16 @Rexdinasaur @KatyKray73 @LarfatLibstears @zfightingirish No , I am not saying it is acceptable. I was just answering the question you were asking. Unfortunately it’s in their DNA.
English

@morel601 @higgins1112 The mother allowed this man to into her house. Seriously, people need to read between the lines . This man didn’t know the outlays/ situations of the house hold without prior knowledge.
English

There seems to be only one photo of this poor child, and to me, it looks like she's already been given a black eye.
She was 5 years old.
5 year olds can be annoying, but you don't punch them in the head!
She never had a chance, and it's all because of the "Stolen Generation" bullshit.

Bundeena, New South Wales 🇦🇺 English

@CROWSMEMORY @higgins1112 Shut up you ignorant fuckwit. It’s exactly this kind of harmful attitude that has led to this. Put your child pornography away and sit this out.
English

This is exactly the kind of harmful, ignorant take that makes situations like this worse.
A child has lost her life and instead of showing respect, you’re making assumptions about a photo, pushing blame onto a whole group of people, and dismissing the reality of the Stolen Generations like it’s “bullshit.”
That history isn’t an opinion. It’s documented fact, and its impacts are still being felt today through intergenerational trauma, systemic disadvantage, and broken systems that continue to fail our people.
What happened to this child is a tragedy. Full stop.
It deserves compassion, accountability, and truth not racism, not generalisations, and not political point-scoring.
If you actually care about children’s safety, then focus on the real issues. Underfunded services, lack of support, and systemic failure to name a few. You wouldn’t be blaming an entire culture or rewriting history to suit your narrative.
Do better.
English

@JillMarinelli1 Why give a shit now? This stuff is happening all the time. Maybe not always resulting in death but sexual child abuse nonetheless. Perpetrated by a lot of these people rioting and wanting tribal justice. Maybe they should do us all a favour and spear themselves
English

@soyundy16 @Rexdinasaur @KatyKray73 @LarfatLibstears @zfightingirish Shaun, you need to read the book’ Fatal Shores’ . It has documented accounts of observations of the aboriginals when the First Fleet arrived. Then you will see it is part of their culture
English

@Rexdinasaur @KatyKray73 @LarfatLibstears @zfightingirish While I agree to a certain extent... why is DV and child abuse, both physical and sexual, sooo much higher in indigenous communities??? Bout time these elders... past, present and future, stood the fuck up!!!!
English

@theoztrucker Mike, the sad thing is the mother allowed this man into her house. I am happy for these aboriginals to behave like their Neanderthal ancestors but if we do that take all our money away from them.
English

@michaelJwyllie Michael, easy fix. How about aboriginal parents be good parents.
English
Nick Struve retweetledi

An aboriginal man was arrested for allegedly kidnapping and causing the death of a young Aboriginal girl, and in response aboriginals rioted in the town.
This violence shocks a lot of Australians, but it shouldn’t. We see reports of similar rioting, assaults and even spearings on a regular basis.
Australians must stop being fooled into thinking the biggest problems afflicting Aboriginal communities is lack of welcome to countries and White people. The discourse must be opened up to let these communities hear the call coming from inside their house.
English

@__atavist__ @RealJarTaylor The problem is these people are to blame and a lot of them have done the same. You see the problem
English

@RealJarTaylor While there is CLEARLY a massive problem with sexual abuse and violence in general amongst Aboriginal communities, it is STILL THE CASE that most Aboriginals would rather tear a pedo limb from limb than allow them to face Western half-arsed 'justice'. GOOD FOR THEM.
