When I tell people that my kids are in ISR the first question is, “do they just throw them in the pool?”. I laugh and say no because Kristin is one of the most loving people I know. She pushes my kids to be their best but in a safe, loving way. We just went on vacation last week and I told her, “I never thought we would be able to relax on vacation with a pool and our kids being this little, but we did this.” We did because of the life saving skills she taught them! Oliver isn’t even 2. He is in full winter clothing and he is able to float and swim to the steps to save himself. I’m so grateful for her and I will ALWAYS recommend for swimming! I am vastly outnumbered and thankful for it, but a mama needs help when it comes to life saving skills!

Feeling like you’re sinking in the pool can be scary. But in most cases, there’s a simple and safe solution. In this video, I show you exactly what to do if you start sinking: how to stay calm, use the pool depth to your advantage, push off the bottom, and return safely to the surface with control. Understanding how your body behaves in the water is key to reducing panic and building confidence. When you know what to do, fear disappears and movement becomes natural again. This is a basic survival skill that every swimmer should know, whether you’re a beginner, an adult learner, or someone working on water confidence.
