Hiring students and mentoring students are not the same thing. Filling roles on your team with students is not enough. You have to guide them. You have to trust them. You have to give them opportunities to discover what they can do when they are given the tools and the trust.

There isn’t one marketing team in sports that has infinite resources. Yet so often digital & content teams are treated like infinite resources. Spraying & praying. Knee-jerk reactions. Internal “fire drills”. No prioritization. It’s deflating for teams & hurts meaningful work.
