Day 2 of building @claw_deploy with nothing but ads. Today I was stupid, I forgot to set up my sign-up Weebly properly on prod. That means of the: - £50 ad spend - 10,000 impressions - 50 clicks No one could sign up, in fact, infact there were a bunch of sign-up webhooks that failed.

We scanned 100 startup websites. Average risk score: 45 out of 100. That's a failing grade. 87% had at least one visible security issue. 80% had HIGH severity findings. 4 had CRITICAL issues. Wrote up everything we found: shipshield.ai/blog/we-scanne… Your startup is probably in that 87% 👀

I remember vividly when I was 16, my parents sold their house🏡 My dad said: "This will be one of the few times in your life you have this sort of money in your bank account" 5 years later, I was doing my company's returns with my accountant and realised we had made double that amount. I guess what I'm trying to say is: most people accept the reality given to them.

Duvido que tenha sido o produto, eu literalmente fiz o meu em uns 5 dias, meio “vibe coding”. Acho que foi mais a estratégia. Escolhi um público-alvo americano, usei IA e já estruturei o negócio desde o início para ser vendido, com os ativos preparados para alguém absorver facilmente. Por isso acho que vendi rápido estava mais como um “starter kit” para alguém integrar no negócio deles e escalar, em vez de ser algo como o HypeClip, que é um negócio próprio para crescer a longo prazo. Como eu só queria um turnaround de 90 dias, o meu objetivo era bem simples: adquirir ~100 clientes, converter 10–15 para pago, garantir que os addons funcionavam e manter uma margem bruta acima de 80%.

Não, tivemos que fazer um processo de venda mais completo, com LOI e assinatura de APA. Também tive que transferir o domínio e outros ativos. Preparei um documento de venda e negociámos um pouco o preço. Inicialmente eu queria vender por 15x do ARR, mas acabámos por fechar em 10x. Foi bem mais simples e até meio “amador” comparado com um exit de 8+ dígitos, porque não tive equipa jurídica envolvida nem transferência de entidade legal, por exemplo.

@nickdevsbadly @marclou @trust_mrr Decade-long project finally exiting in 3 weeks once the right marketplace existed for it. The infrastructure for selling small SaaSs is maturing fast — its becoming less about who you know and more about having verifiable revenue and a clean handoff.
