Current mood: listening to REM and trying to format a parallel text for Kindle, so it's swings and roundabouts. Six of one, half a dozen of the other. Ebbs and flows. Ups and downs. I should probably get back to work...

The flag waving morons™ have marched through Faversham, past my house and down to Acacia Court to bang drums and chant ‘go home’ at some children for a couple of hours. What a fucking embarrassment.

I just watched Sharkenstein. It’s certainly a film. I wouldn’t know where to start, really. I feel changed. Renewed, even. Things look different now, like viewing the world after a long sleep or a psychedelic experience. History will look upon it and see it, for it is a thing.

I've been in a bit of a funk since publishing the book. All the writing, editing, formatting, repeating those three things again, left me thrown. Proper 'what do I do now?' stuff. Then it struck me: I should write another one. Pretty obvious, when you think about it.

The counter protest to today’s anti-immigration march in Faversham is literally eclipsing the march itself. People are online calling for a ban on counter protests. Lol.

A literal child just posted this through our door. Faversham is full of English flags on every available pole and they’re sending their children to leaflet the town with propaganda. Sad times for anyone with at least a sliver of humanity.

My partner found this slowly wasting away in the teenager’s room. We have named it Leif Erikson and will nurse it back to health.

Weird thing to see in the sky at night. What are we thinking? Bit of a rocket launch spinning off and outgassing or out…fuelling? Aliens? Probably the first one.

Just finished Project Hail Mary. Brilliant book. I highly recommend giving it a read or a listen (Ray Porter’s performance is stellar.)
