Airbnb, this is unacceptable. @Airbnb
We stayed in a listing where loud drilling (building maintenance) made it impossible to work during the day. We raised this respectfully.
After checkout, the host started contacting us repeatedly on WhatsApp, pushing for calls and making inappropriate comments when we refused.
We left an honest, factual review.
Airbnb removed it.
If real experiences can be erased while this kind of behavior is ignored, how can anyone trust this platform?

I had and still have got a devastating gastroenteritis that created several complications, leaving me unable to even grab a phone until now.
Thanks to those who wrote encouraging messages, especially to @BrianRoemmele who really tried everything to contact me.
Thanks 🙏

@1994droopy @lucasmjerez @glodcarm understood to a degree. 100 units, 98 procedures. inventory should reveal 2 in stock. this is what i mean. also should be restricted beyond basic inventory.
English

@nickm @lucasmjerez @glodcarm Gran parte de eso excepto propofol y fentanilo es de uso común y a granel en el ámbito hospitalario. Cientos de ampollas se usan por cada turno.

@BuySellBA yes for sure. want for nothing, no morning alarm, work from anywhere on the planet (FL to Zona Norte and everywhere in between). i mean, my car is old but it has charm. lol take care
English

@nickm Hey a good humble and honest life working hard and taking care of you and your family is all one can hope for. I enjoy your posts. Definitely hope we cross paths in BA.
English

Moved to Buenos Aires in my 20’s to do a start up in Argentina of all places. Technology like we have didn’t exist back then. Info was scarce. Banking in Argentina was non existent after the Corralito.
Literally had to have millions of dollars in cash in the office. Dealt with robbery attempts in the office, attempted shake downs by AFIP, had ex-President Fernando de la Rua as a friend and neighbor in my office building.
Built up a successful company, had over 100 employees, financed many buildings in BA.
For my company in Argentina get acquired by a company. Then Airbnb bought that company.
Nothing scares me anymore. Everything is easy compared to that.

People who moved abroad alone in their 20s, handled all docs, bank account, visa, tax, jobs, accomadation, and culture difference These people fear nothing anymore

@BuySellBA sounds like good times. a humble life here and doing well but nothing like that. congrats! hope to cross paths someday in bs as. best.
English

Yes if you can run a legitimate company at Argentina and scale it (we bought over 500 properties after the Corralito). I had to hire people. (Did it all in white as I wanted to exit and get acquired some day). Took 8 years. But did it.
After that life seems easy. Ther was by far the toughest thing I ever had to do. Since went on to do other start ups that got acquired too. But Argentina prepares you to accomplish anything in life.
It’s a brutally tough country but I love it with a passion.
