Approach in plus counts:
Move the bat fast ➡️ Hunt the heart of the plate ➡️ Do damage

Environment: iPitch heaters simulating low 90s w/ mixed locations.
Goal: Bat Speed above current avg and swing at heaters in the heart of the plate/take on the edges.

As a hitting coach I think it’s very important to make sure hitters don't go into swing mode during training.
Machine work has become a huge part of training hitters and for good reason, as hitters need to be challenged to prepare for what they’re going to see on gameday.
