@HBtheEnder Valve is also pretty generous with fan projects and thing using their IP. Hell, they even gave out the entire source code of tf2 for people to fuck around with. Overall, valve isn’t a perfect company, but they aren’t super money hungry and exploitive like other gaming companies

It’s crazy that what it took for people to go against valve and steam wasn’t letting bots and cheaters fester in games, or getting teens hooked on gambling, or adding bad content to games, or sitting on IPs, or forced matchmaking It was the price of steam decks being hiked
