@Magda_Wierzycka Especially clever if they get each of the neighbouring seats to pay for the middle seat. Suddenly get double pay for the cheap (or empty if flight only 2/3 full) seat and look like good guys. Brilliant!

This is clever. I know it increases the price of flying but people with families will not so that, while businesses requiring people to fly for business reasons will pay more. Broadly generalized statement, I know, but nonetheless. Clever management. SAA can pick up some tips.
