Calvin Ridley is 31, coming off a broken fibula (Nov. ‘25), and the Titans just drafted Carnell Tate 4th overall. That’s not depth. That’s a succession plan as a first-rounder. The peak age for WR-1 production is 26. Ridley is five years past that window and now buried behind a top-5 pick as well as a slot receiver the team paid real money for in free agency. The target share has to come from somewhere. Tennessee didn’t rebuild around Ridley. They rebuilt over him.
