@TightFive_Rugby Nothing against rugby. It’s £250 for a return train ticket plus hotel costs for weekend. Great having two games on a HQ over the weekend, they couldn’t offer better! It’s the cost of everything else.

@talkSPORT @laura_woodsy completely agree. They may know the difference between right and wrong but children are impressionable. You see young players rolling around the floor injured after a foul or throwing the arms in the air copying what their hero’s do on the pitch. No respect for refs

@dannycare Did he enjoy playing, must be the best thing to come from it! We don’t have leagues at mini’s level and only competitive cup competitions at youth due to playing numbers and teams. Helps grow skills rather than give it to the biggest best players who won’t be in later years 👍

Just watched our son play in a School Rugby festival, where no scores were recorded or any knock out rounds/winners etc. Most parents seemed fairly confused as to why, as in other sports at this age (U8&U9) competition is normally encouraged. Interested to hear ppl’s opinions 🤔

@LeeJarvis10 At u12’s we have players player. Coaches player. Most improved and RET respect effort and teamwork. We don’t let the same player win more than one award and they can’t win the same award the next season. They all get a trophy with an individual summary of their season

Mini + Junior Rugby 🏉 End of season presentation 🏆 🏅 From under 8's / 9's there should be Team and Individual awards imo. Player of the year Most improved player Etc etc. Reward excellence and praise improvements even at that age. Not everyone should have the same🥇
