#BlumGenealogyMusings Fascinating how family names change over the years. Just discovered that a Kornegay family far off on the tree evolved into a Carnegie family. Almost didn't make sense until I said them out loud.

#BlumGenealogyMusings Just added a previously unknown wife for a man named Royal onto the tree. Her name was Violet. Struck me as fitting as purple is often considered a color for royalty.

#BlumGenealogyMusings Man, how depressing. 4 of this couple's 5 children died within weeks of each other in 1887. And their 5th had previously died meaning they outlived all of their children, none of whom made it to 10. So sad.

#BlumGenealogyMusings Just added Pernecia Darthulia (Hendrix) McGaughey (1849-1925). Darthulia certainly seems like a fitting name to add to a #StarWars family's tree.
